Tools required: Tape measure, spirit level, saw, adhesive, and caulk gun.
1. Prepare the wall – Clean the surface and ensure it is dry, flat, and crack-free. Remove any outlets or baseboards if needed.
2. Measure & plan – Take wall measurements and test-fit the panels to decide on layout (vertical, horizontal, or chevron). Allow panels to rest in the room for 48 hours before installation.
3. Cut to size – Use a fine-tooth saw for precise cuts and align grooves for smooth joints.
4. Apply adhesive – Spread strong construction adhesive evenly on the back of each panel. Secure with nails or clips in the grooves for extra hold.
5. Install panels – Begin from a corner, press each panel firmly in place, and use a level to keep rows straight. Continue row by row.
6. Finish up – Seal joints with caulk, touch up paint if necessary, and reinstall outlets or baseboards.
