However, if you intentionally scratch it forcefully with a utility knife or a sharp metal object, scratches will still be left. For co-extruded products, scratches generally only damage the surface protective layer and will not expose the internal wood flour, preventing it from absorbing moisture and becoming moldy.
Q: Is installation complicated? Can it be installed directly on old tiled walls?
A: It's very simple.
For smooth walls: Use stainless steel clips or special structural adhesive for fixing. Any carpenter or mason can do it.
For old tiled walls: As long as the tiles are not hollow or shedding dust, you can directly install the joists on the surface using expansion screws, then clip on the panels. No need to remove the old tiles.
For uneven walls: First, level the surface with a metal joist, then install using the clips.
