ASA material is a co-extruded polymer, its full name isAcrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate, that is, acrylonitrile-sty-rene-acrylate copolymer. It is a special synthetic resinthat is commonly used to make productwith goodweather resistance and UV resistance, especially in applicaations.

A dense ASA full-coverage protective layer prevents the penetration of sea breeze chloride ions and sea salt crystals into the substrate, eliminating salt corrosion cracking and internal powdering;
The core layer is enriched with special additives to resist chloride ions and hydrolysis, ensuring it will not corrode or blister even in long-term exposure to the humid, splashing sea environment. Solid wood and ordinary PE-coated wood-plastic composites will rot from salt spray in 3-5 years, while this product is durable for 25+ years by the sea;

ASA molecules have no UV-sensitive double bonds, possessing inherent UV resistance. The surface layer is formulated with HALS light stabilizers. After 6000 hours of xenon lamp aging, the color difference ΔE < 3, and there is no noticeable fading visible to the naked eye after 20 years of outdoor use. Ordinary non-co-extruded WPC/PE coated wood-plastic composites show significant whitening, chalking, and color fading over 3-5 years, while this product maintains over 98% color retention under direct sunlight. It does not change color or peel under strong sunlight or high temperatures in tropical coastal areas.

Extremely Low Water Absorption, Moisture-Proof, Mildew-Proof, and Non-Deformable
Overall water absorption rate ≤0.5%, far lower than solid wood (15%～30%) and conventional wood-plastic composites (1%～2%). It does not absorb water, swell, warp, or deform under rainy, humid, or coastal conditions. The formula includes highly effective anti-mildew and anti-termite additives, preventing mold growth and insect infestation in the humid coastal environment, completely solving the problems of mold and decay in solid wood.

Under -40℃ to +80℃ high and low temperature cycling, the board does not delaminate or warp, adapting to the large temperature difference between day and night in coastal climates.

Integrated Co-Extrusion, No Cracking or Delamination, Durable Structure
ASA surface layer + WPC core material are co-extruded at high temperature, without glue bonding. Simultaneous thermal shrinkage prevents peeling, delamination, and edge warping later (late-coated boards are prone to delamination and peeling). The board has excellent bending and impact resistance, resisting breakage under strong typhoons and gales at the coast.
