Composition of Wpc Floor
WPC floor consists of the following components:
1. Dry wood fibers (55%)
2. Compressed ethylene or High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) (35%)
3. UV stabilizers, oxidation and rot inhibitors, color stabilizers (fade-resistant), anti-fungal agents, etc.
4. Binders, reinforcing agents, and lubricants (10%)
WPC Flooring Structure
From top to bottom, a typical WPC flooring plank consists of the following layers:
1. UV Coating
This is the final, transparent surface finish. The UV coating provides most of the surface performance characteristics of WPC flooring, including abrasion resistance, stain resistance, gloss control, and more.
2. Wear Layer
Located directly beneath the UV coating is the wear layer-a transparent, durable sheet of pure PVC. The wear layer protects the decorative film from scratches, scuffs, and foot traffic; its thickness directly determines the flooring's durability.
3. Color Film Layer (Decorative Layer)
Serving as the decorative surface, the color film layer offers a wide variety of options for WPC flooring. It typically features realistic wood-grain designs to suit diverse styles and preferences.
4. WPC Core Layer
The WPC core features a foamed structure with a high PVC content, making it lighter in weight while providing unparalleled comfort and durability. Compared to SPC and LVT flooring, the WPC core offers superior underfoot comfort relative to other core substrates.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Due to its strength and stability, this product requires no maintenance. Should the WPC flooring become damaged, it can be easily replaced without any issues.
Using any standard cleaning agent during cleaning will not affect the color or surface finish of the WPC flooring.
Stains can be easily removed using a damp cloth and laundry detergent.
